Every client is different. They have differing goals, products, needs and customers.
Whether by writing, art or graphic design, effective business communication cannot be about the ego of any author, artist or designer: it must be about the unique requirements of the client. These are just a few examples of what Meister Creative and Chris Meister have done in the past. What they do for you will be unique to your needs.
Since 1995, Meister Creative has been helping clients craft and convey their messages using words, art and graphic design. The philosophy of its principal, Chris Meister, is that while every business and field have their unique aspects, communication needs are universal: they are either being met or they are not. If your business communication needs are not being met, perhaps Meister Creative can help. The process starts with a meeting to discuss your particular situation.
Businesses that have tapped Meister Creative's talents represent many fields, including aerospace, automotive, defense-related, education, energy, engineering, health care, manufacturing and retail.
Writing for business can take many forms: providing website content for Search Engine Optimization, explaining a company’s products and services, generating internal and external documents such as press releases—the list goes on. Meister Creative has been providing B2B and B2C writing services for clients since 1995.
As the artwork notes, this section is under construction. In the meantime, you can find examples of Chris Meister's writing throughout this website. He wrote every bit of it (well, except for the Dickens passage on the left). The style changes up a little from page to page because Chris likes to mix things up when he can.
Clients rely on Meister Creative for diverse writing projects. In order to properly communicate the message you want for your business, Chris will need to gain an understanding of your needs. Often, it becomes most efficient for Chris to provide the words and the design. That can be a decision made after taking an objective look at your business needs.
Please, feel free to look around. If you think there might be a good fit with your needs, contact Chris at Meister Creative. He will be happy to discuss this further.

Sure, any material representing your business needs to look professional. But what else? Does it say (in both words, illustrations and design) what you want to say about your company? Upon first glance, should it separate you from your competition? Should it serve as a sales tool that helps your reps close the deal?
These are a few of the questions that Chris Meister will ask before attempting to represent your business through graphic design. Your promotions should not be taken lightly, and they won't be taken lightly by Meister Creative.
The Atec Annual Report cover shown here is an example of meeting unique needs. This engineering services company had been in business for many years with a strong, diverse client base. It acquired another equally diverse company as a natural result of growth, but the change produced a certain amount of anxiety—as often happens. Management hoped to assure both customers and employees that the company would continue to service the combined, diverse client base without presenting any sector as favored. Chris Meister’s solution was to adapt the comforting image of a community welcome gateway, with the company’s diverse engineering sectors presented as service club medallions. Colors were strategically chosen to reflect the logo colors of the two companies. The postcard-type image is a complete, photo-realistic fabrication from photographs computer graphics. It became an effective sales tool for explaining the company's abilities.
Chris Meister holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and is adept at free hand and computer graphic art. His knowledge and experience has him well-positioned to create graphics himself or to work with and direct others in meeting client needs.
Labeling and instructions comprise a special niche in business communication that is too often overlooked. Clearly the message must be important, otherwise you would not clutter your product with a label or go to the effort of providing instructions. Information must be concise and clearly presented to be effective. Superfluous text, confused design and ineffective art detract from your objective.
Chris Meister has over 15 years experience providing labeling, instructions and other end-customer information for manufacturers of automotive, construction, material handling and other products. This work is often designed in response to regulatory mandates, legal requirements and/or engineering direction.
